Quiet on set! Gain the basics and best practices of sound recording and editing for picture. In this special course with guest instructor C. Daddio, we’ll discuss the two most common types of microphones, learn how to get the most from your camera sound, and gain an overview of field and production recording. Then, we’ll cover editing sound with dialogue, ambience, sound effects, and go over common mistakes — and how to avoid them.

He has been active in the Bay Area art and music scene for over 20 years, having worked on numerous film projects, music recordings, and sound design.
